This kit is using Wilson's popular 801245 SOHO amplifier together with a special outside antenna designed for rural mountainous as. The amplifier uses 3 watts to communicate with the cell tower and is ideal for rural settings where the towers up to 50 miles away. The short pipe antenna helps by not only communicating in 360 degrees horizontally, but also transmitting vertically making it the ideal antenna for situations where there obstructions like tall trees or mountains nearby. The 801245 amplifier only requires 20 ft of separation between the inside and outside antennas making it also and ideal choice for trailers and cabins.This in-building amplifier is 60 dB and suitable for home/small building use.
